Paul Bar/Food

A New York-inspired neighborhood bar for steak frites, burgers, beer, and cocktails.

Tucked into a strip mall on East Vista Chino, Paul Bar/Food was opened in 2018 by Bronx-raised Paul O’Halloran as a tribute to New York. The wood-paneled bar serves a dinner menu that includes steak frites, a short-rib dip, and a burger, alongside beer and classic cocktails.

Why it made the guide

A dinner-and-drinks stop away from Palm Canyon Drive, with steak frites and a neighborhood-bar atmosphere that suits a couple or a small group.

From The Orchid HouseA local favorite with a little New York soul. We love it for a great steak and a cold beer.
